What, you were expecting something else? Slackers Weekend wasn't planned as is from the start. Things like this need to evolve. No-one starts out trying to make tradition.

Dateless on Valentines day a simple plan arose. Get drunk and watch movies.

Thanks to Walt Welt's shrewd negotiations with the phone company a vast collection free video rentals were aquired. With a little convincing the person at Blockbuster allowed us to rent 11 movies that night (ten was the company limit).

With the addition of a 1/4 barrel of Sam Adams Boston Lager which was purchased at Cranberry Liquors and a new tradition was started.
