This is a sharing event........not a freeloader event........I like hanging around with everyone at the fire, chillin and tellin stories and goofin off.......but when certain people invite 50 dumb hippie fucks and 18 year olds and shitty bands that no one listens to once the big fire hads died..........Im left saying what the fuck. Im all for bringing someone new to the party, but we have to have limits on who and how many......unless we want this to turn into some woodstock concert........all it takes is one dumb fuck person to be stupid and get hurt and ruin it for all of us.....and id really be pissed off if it is some kid we dont even know, cause he was invited in mass by a particular person. so yes, i gripe alot. i dont like having to watch over my food and beer every 10 minutes cause they forgot theirs or whatever the fuck reason. Sharing with all of you is great, cause we all share back...........not freeload like those fuckers last year.

Cool deal. To be honest, my blue sundance is about to kick the bucket. Im thinking of making it a donation to the "Burbon and Burn Cars for Lazy Drunks" fund, but to be honest, I'm not sure if the car will make it to the BnB field, let alone past fredrick. I bought a 2003 Saturn Vue recently to replace it, so ill probably show up with that................Where I stand now (and possible my friend Ryan (IM BRINGING ONE PERSON.....NOT 500....OTHERS SHOULD LEARN FROM THIS)).....ill probably be arriving at Bnb 12ish on Friday.......is anyone else hopeing/planning to be there then, or do i need some bolt cutters to get on the property?

A couple things... 1) I don't mind people bringging people to Bourbon and Burn. If you think they are cool, fine. As with any function there is the possibility of dick heads. I myself had no problems with various "Hippies".

2) Bands. Again. I liked the band. Rob Wallace and those guys were a lot of fun to talk with and I really appreciate the work they did to set up in the middle of a field. Again, if it isn't your taste, I'm sorry. They were playing as a favor.

Having said all that, I don't want 50 million people at Bourbon and Burn. That is one of the reasons last year we didn't have Bands playing all day (as they wanted). At the same time I'm not into telling people that their friends aren't welcome. I think if everyone uses soem common sense we shouldn't have any problems.

I totally agree. The bands may not have been for me, but that is my problem. However, i dont think we can use common sense in inviting people, since common sense isnt very common anymore. I do think that there will have to be an overall limit placed on people invited, because someone used their common sense and it told them it was ok to invite 50 others. Kind of like how he (not Matt O') used common sense to let his friend drive the war waggon and crash it into a tree ON A STRAIGHT AND SMOOTH PART OF THE ROAD!!! Then, his common sense said "Nah, im not going to let the owners of the car know, they can find out through someone else. and i wont offer to help fix it or pay for any costs to fix it, because im a useless piece of shit and my common sense told me not too." All it took was one stupid dumb fucker to wreck the war-waggon, taking something away from all of us, and all it may take is for one more dumb fucker to take away this whole trip. I would rather have rules that limit something yet keep the experience alive, rather than have no rules and have the experience taken away from us. This may seem like nonsense bitching, but ive seen situations like this happen before, and once its taken away, you dont get it back.

This year i really want to get some good shootin practice in with my rifle.........if anyone else has a rifle and wants to practice with it take it up and we can go way far away from everyone else and set up some targets..........i say this because most people dont take a rifle with all the shotgun shooting going on........but im rifle shooting, either by myself or with whoever wants to go.......lemme know what caliibur the rifle is and i could get you a small box of ammo........ill have plenty of .22mag ammo

Well, my rebar kind of fell through... Though I'll go to the depot and make something work.. Block would have been easier, but I will use stone if necessary. I might need someone with a pickup to grab the sheet of corrogated steel I'm going to buy. Basically I'm building a rectangle of stone, like last time. putting a fire at either end and putting a steel roof on the thing.

Personally i would like to share that I am not going so why Tiff or Chris would go is beyond me....i didn't invite either and i don't think either of them is close enough to anyone else to feel invited. Anyhow... i thought it would have been enough when i got the phone call last night and said i didn't think it was a good idea for someone to go... I think that should be good enough. There should be no questioning being you called me and ASKED. As far as Tiff going on Sat. that is news too me which i don't agree with her going either. I think that if i am not there my friends should not be there . That is my opinion. sarah, i'm not sure if you noticed or not but i rarely see you when i'm there maybe because i'm spending time with people who i've met over the years. it seems a lot of things are beyond you and maybe that's why we don't have a lot in common. this whole family invite thing seems a little klanish (redneck) to me and the way i see it is if you know how to have a good time, a responsible person would do it at a time like this. read the website......... it sounds like people are there to let off some steam from the daily grind but then when they do a few people who always seem to have sand caught in their pussies have to complain. all my buds who don't have pussies have fun, anyone who can't live up to bourbon n burn just needs to get a life. karl, tyler,matt,gabe,garrett,tym<-----jk damn mooch, poker chris, my quiet burnt buddy andrew and all my other pals who know how have a good time keep it real ....

Chris.....its funny YOU mention responsible, since you are by far the least responsible or safe person who goes up there, ask anyone who shoots guns up there why they go away when you begin to shoot.......and you have a distorted vision of who your "buds" are, since half the people on that list were very happy your presence wasnt there..........if you read the website like you say to, it also says "You can't come if you're not invited." seems the same with invite revocations now..........finally, no matter how good your shoes are, you cant walk over burnt bridges.............Personally, top 3 B &B this year, happy the weather held off and didnt rain on us

Freakin' outstanding time at this year's Bourbon and Burn. Best time since my first time. Should anyone find an extra camera amongst their belongings, please let me know. One of my friends that came was unable to locate his before we left. It's a Canon. There are some outstanding photos that I feel it would be a tragedy to lose them! Thanks!
