Well, it's just another weekend in the woods... It's camping, it's drinking, it's shooting, it's bon fires, it's eating,
it's Jon's fireworks, it's DJ Matt playing tunes, it's... well ... it's just Bourbon and Burn.
Bourbon and Burn is sitting around a big ass fire, drinking bourbon while you roast dead animal flesh. It's a little piece of Hereford transplanted 205 miles west and 2504 feet up. Bourbon and Burn is eating at camp omega, hanging out at camp alpha (or was that the other way around?). Bourbon and Burn is almost always making it back to your tent. Bourbon and Burn is sweet and sour chipmonk.
In the mountians hangovers can't get a foot hold and there is always something good to eat. Your hands get dirty and no one cares. Bears don't come anywhere near camp, and taking a quick nap in the middle of a field is quite refreshing.
First organized officially in Fall 2003, Bourbon and Burn is held once in the Spring and once again in the Autumn. The event is the logical extension of the traditional Hereford Burning.
Alright, so now you're here...
- If you just randomly stumbled onto this site, well go away. You can't come if you're not invited.
- If you are looking at this page because you are invited, the directions to the property are here (password required). Be sure to also check out pictures from past Bourbon and Burns (to give you an idea of what you are in for).
Happy Camping.
If you are through looking around here, why don't you check out Rob Wallace and The Mess's Site.
